With all of the recent Space-X launches and landings, is there any interest in NASA TV? There's no fee for Start or cable operators to carry it. There would be a hardware/maintenance cost to Start, so we would have to pay I expect.
https://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/faq.html :
"The NASA TV Public, Media and Education channels are "free-to-air," meaning your cable or satellite service provider can carry each at no cost. Contact your local cable or satellite service provider about carrying any NASA TV channel."
"I have my own C-band-sized satellite dish. What else do I need to get the digital NASA TV Public Channel?
An Integrated Receiver Decoder, or IRD that receives "free-to-air" programming like the NASA TV Public Channel can be purchased from many sources, including "off-the-shelf" at your local electronics store. "
