Didn't see a thread on this yet ....
Received the email today regarding my 70$/100mbps legacy plan is dropping to 65$/75mbps due to pricing. I realize it's out of Starts control from a TPIA cost perspective for service packages, but a 25% speed drop for a 5% price drop, is naturally difficult to receive positively.
I think the stinger out of the situation is the email from Start says ...
"The best part? You will see a $5 savings on your March bill"
I personally don't think that's the best part. If I wanted to save 5$ a month on internet for less speed, I would have called Start and switched to the 75mbps plan that's been available publicly for quite a while. I think Start probably could(should) have skipped adding that line in the email, or perhaps something like 10$ savings instead ...
Anyways, not expecting anything from this, just felt the need to give feedback/rant ...
Thanks.
