So the municipality came and removed a pile of snow from the end of our street we just happen to be at the end of the same, discovered that both the Bell and Cogeco lines are (were) buried sod deep between the curb and the guardrail (dead end street). The back hoe managed to catch on and sever both of them.
Ticket has been sent to Start, municipality has informed me that they have run into this before and with Cogeco unless there is an account # associated with it they won't do anything, oh well luckily I have the means and ability to throw in a temp bypass cable to the house (pole drop is an unprotected straight through to the buried cable) , last time they took 4 days to come out and their temp line was in for well over 6 months.
