Hi everybody. After being a Rogers customer for 13+ years I had had enough of their sales tactics and BS and decided to make the switch to start.ca. Heard great things about them online and from a few friends.
My scheduled switch date was March 19th of this week. Woke up Monday morning, Internet was out (due to Rogers cutting it off) so I swapped the modem and it basically hasn't worked since then. Now, I understand this issue is basically effecting anyone who is a new subscriber or is even swapping a modem.
My issue is, how the heck does it take them *6* days (and counting) to fix something like this? In all my time at Rogers for 13+ years the longest outage I had was maybe an hour or two. And I can probably count them on one hand.
start.ca support has been very nice and I understand that some of this is out of their control but I am just beyond frustrated at this point. To be honest, the resellers not being able to control the last mile is what gave me a lot of trepidation to switching up to this point and of course I do the switch and my fears are coming true. :(
I guess I'm mostly venting/complaining but I've also posted a few screenshots from my TC4350 router as well if anyone sees anything strange in there.
And yes, I've power cycled it probably 50+ times over the past 6 days.
Thanks to anyone for any advice or help!
